Prune or leave - Damaged Hydrangea

Not long ago I bought a new, "Endless Summer" hydrangea for my yard. Little did I know that mother nature had decided that, despite the warmer days we'd already had there was one more night of frosty temperatures to be had. And so I did not get a chance to protect the new little guy..and it shows.

Here how he looks today -> http://ift.tt/1sGXbqo

The once full, thick, deep blue blossoms are much less so and many of the once green leaves have largely turned black.

So I'm wondering..should I just leave it and let it recover as-is? I do see some new growth for sure..it does look like it'll pull through. I'm just wondering if I should cut/prune all of the damaged/dead stuff away. Obviously doing so with the blooms means cutting off big chunks.

Thanks!
