First off I want to say sorry if I am not posting correctly I'm not sure where else to post.
My friend has a cheery tree with some branches that are dead. I went to trim those dead limbs and noticed that part of the trunk was rotting g under the bark.
Someone please help identify the problem or lead me somewhere that could.
