Looking for some ideas on how to improve my large side yard. My house is a duplex and this area was somewhat used as a second driveway (as you can tell by the gravel out by the street). There is an industrial-type warehouse building next to me and my properly line is about 2 feet off the building (most of the yard is mine). I'm wondering if r/landscaping has any ideas about how to make this area more private and enjoyable. Right now it is not obvious that this area is part of my property, and I wonder if some tall shrubs (or fencing) along the street side and wall side could help make it feel more inclusive of the rest of my property. Any suggestions are appreciated! Edit: located in Minnesota.
