When summer comes around, what is the first thing you think of? For me, it’s BBQs and parties in the fresh air, all with friends, family and good food.

To welcome summer, I wanted to have a party in the backyard. I invited a small group of friends to make this more intimate and fun.

When trying to figure out how I wanted the decor, I went for colorful and elegant. The result was bright floral arrangements with lots of color, and some fruit to add contrast.

As you can see, the table is one of the most important elements at the time of your reunion. Getting it ready can sometimes be a challenge. For an elegant look, I opted for bright colors and white glasses. Dishes with flowers were perfect for this occasion.

When I went to look for the dishes that I wanted to use, I was immediately drawn to these. They’re so versatile! I loved the colors and knew they would be perfect for my reunion.

How about these small cake stands? They’re adorable, aren’t they? Cake stands are something fun to add to your table and, not to mention, cupcakes are a hit with everyone!

Always try to add candles into your decor to give it a touch of elegance. To create the perfect ambiance, add lots of light and, of course, don’t forget the flowers!
