Organize Your Garden with a Potting Bench

Do you love gardening but find that your potting area is a mess? Get organized with a potting bench for all your small tools and supplies. Not only will everything have its appointed place, a potting bench could help give you a sense of establishment with your garden.

I placed my potting bench on the back deck so everything would be within easy reach of the back and side gardens. The shelf immediately below the tabletop is a great place for storing smaller pots.

Do you see all the wonderful bins that were included as well? The smaller bins provide storage for hand tools, garden gloves, plant tags and so on.

The larger bins work great for holding potting soil, larger pots, sprays, fertilizer and more.

I found this enamel watering can at HomeGood, which features William Morris’ “Strawberry Thief” motif. Don’t you love it when beauty and function are paired together? It makes me smile every time I use it.

Of course, it’s always helpful to have a bucket nearby for tossing trash. “A place for everything and everything in its place” is my organizing motto.

This tall metal bucket is perfect for holding my plant stakes. I set it next to my twine so I can grab both stake and string when one of my taller plants starts to flop in the garden or pot.

Head over to HomeGoods and grab some things to organize your own garden supplies. Share your finds in the comments section!
