Hi all! I've been searching this sub and the internet with my questions but I just can't seem to get straight answers. I'm in Florida.
My neighbor and I are going to be re-sodding our shared easement (9'x24') and I figured that while we were at it, I would re-sod a portion of my lawn that has died out and has many broad leaf and grass looking weeds growing on it. It's only about 9'x12'. I should mention that I do have a lawn service that sprays for bugs and weeds, but these weeds are persistent.
We plan on digging up the area next Friday and laying the new sod on Saturday. So on to my questions:
1.) What is the best way to prep the area once we have it dug up?
2.) Can I spray weed killer today and still sod on Saturday? I believe I have Spectracide weed killer.
3.) Once we have the sod laid, what is the schedule to water and feed the sod?
