As of now I have a large backyard that I have landscaped into the following: I have a large lawn shaped into a circle 25 feet. Surrounding the lawn I have many perennials, flowers and shrubs. In summer the Seattle lawns unless heavily watered turn to straw. I would like to turn the lawn circle into something other than lawn. Any suggestions? I don't want to spend thousands...and I'm not into ornate designs.
