I need some advice. Next weekend a group of us are building a 200 sq ft patio. My gf and I are taking off Friday to remove the grass and dirt. What's the best way to do this? Feel like a spade may be to much work and I'd rather not spend $100 on a sod cutter. I thought about the sod kicker? But doesn't that only remove a few inches? We need to be 7 inches deep throughout. If the sod cutter is the only logical answer, can we set it at 7 inches deep?
Any other other help or advice on anything else is greatly appreciated.
