I havebeen planning on digging a trench down the length of my walkway, it goes downhill and I get a terrible pool of water which eventually dries to dirt all over my walkway right in front of the porch.
The best solution I can come up with is to dig a trench along the outside and fill it with landscaping rocks but the best prices I can find are about a cubic foot of rocks for like $22, and we're talking at least 25 feet of walkway, I just can't afford that right now. What are some cost effective alternatives to the rocks that will promote drainage?
